A well-preserved group of huts and ancillary structures is situated at the foot of a rock outcrop which runs ENE from the lochan immediately NE of Sgorr Mor. One of the huts incorporates a rock overhang and is still roofed; the interior of the hut measures 2.3m by 1.1m and the corbelled roof rises to a maximum height of 1.2m above the floor.

An enclosure and a dyke (c.NG 3754 9119 to c.NG 3863 9143), which has two shorter lengths attached to it, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire, Islands of Rum, Sanday etc., 1879, sheet lxx). An unroofed shieling-hut, an unroofed circular structure and the dykes are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
