Full Description
In the area centred at NN 697 976, on a ridge between General Wade's Military Road and the River Spey, there is a depopulated township known as Biallidbeg, and deserted in mid-19th. century, (Info from Captain J H Macpherson, Dunmore, Newtonmore, Inverness-shire) comprising the footings of about 27 buildings, varying in size from 6.2m x 3.8m to 20.0m x 4.0m, 5 small enclosures, 2 corn-drying kilns, and several field walls. The larger buildings all have internal divisions. An old track runs through the settlement.
