Full Description
NN17SW 8 125 708.
(Area NN 125 708). Some 800 yards N of Dunbhairdghall (vitrified fort - NN17SW 6) there is a stone circle on a little, perhaps artifically, levelled flat on a ridge. The circle is 18' in diameter, composed of fourteen stones nearly a foot high, touching each other, with sockets in the ground for two others, and a few stones within the circle.
D Christison 1889
A search of the area from NW to N of, and up to 720m distant from, Dun Deardail, revealed no trace of this feature, probably the peristalith of a cairn. The steeper slopes to the N are forested and the search was here limited.
