NH 781 564. Air photography has revealed the crop-marks of at least three, and possibly four, ring-ditches in a sloping field about 250m SSE of Kirkton farmhouse.
RCAHMS 1979; Visible on RCAHMS air photograph IN 2659: flown 1976.
Air photographs show several ring-ditches in an arable field as marks in cereal crop. The roughly circular ring-ditches measure approximately 6m to 9m across within narrow ditches. There are a number of individual pits in the immediate vicinity of the ring-ditches.
