Small natural harbour, prob used for a considerable time. Top of beach on S lined with crude stacked wall of large pebbles. E end of the bay a partial wall line (turf covered stone work) heads inland immediately beside a stone outcrop. On the N part of the bay in a small vale rising an old field is visible as a banked area under certain lights according to Mr Bastow (local researcher) - HAW 12/2002
