A crofting township comprising 56 roofed, 4 partially roofed, 16 unroofed buildings, their associated enclosures, a limekiln and a field-system is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet xxxi). Forty roofed, two partially roofed, fifty unroofed buildings and their associated enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969).
