(NN 5556 7919) Carn Mhic Ill'Onfhaidh (NR)
OS 6" map (1903)

A small cairn traditionally the burial place of a captain of the Clan Cameron said to have been killed in a skirmish in 1386 AD after the Battle of Invernahavon (NN69NE 2).
Name Book 1870

A small modern stone cairn about 4 feet high standing upon other larger stone slabs of thin mica-schist (one of which is on edge) forming, approximately a rectangular 6ft by 5ft; possibly the remains of a cist. Information from letter from G C David, Wolfson Hall, Garscube Estate, Maryhill Rd, Glasgow NW, 7 March 1965.

This is possibly a cairn but is more probably a natural feature. It is 0.8m high with a modern cairn in the centre. There are several large stones in the top of the mound but it is not certain whether they form a cist.
Surveyed at 1/10,000.
