(NN 7590 8464) Site of Gaick Lodge - Destroyed by an avalanche in 1800 when a hunting party was killed.
Name Book 1870.
A memorial to Captain John MacPherson of Ballachroan and the other four men who lost their lives in the avalanche stands near the site.
An enclosure immediately adjacent to the south of the site (see MHG55839) may have been associated.
The lodge was rebuilt to the northwest (see MHG55837).
