Full Description
An enclosure and a possible charcoal burning platform (NMRS MS 738/31, no.40), situated on a steep SSW-facing slope above the floor of the River Leven, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by AOC (Scotland Ltd). The enclosure measures 2m in diameter with a drystone wall standing up to three courses, or 0.5m in height. Immediately to the W is a possible charcoal burning platform measuring 9m by 8m.
