Uamha Thuill, a cave on the shore less than a mile E of Kilmory (names: NM 5020 7300), is traditionally associated with St. Columba, the saint having used the water dripping from the roof into a natural basin for baptism. It was supposed to have healing powers, and was visited by sick people, who left offerings beside the basin.
