NJ03NW 4.00 from 0086 3500 to 0000 3895. MR 9 (formerly Lin 511).

NJ03NW 4.01 0037 3832 Bridge.

The military road joins the modern road at NJ 009 352, having passed through a pleasantly walkable section. It continues on the A939, taking a sharp bend W at Dava, just after the school.

Although some of the original military road still survives between NJ 0086 3500 and NJ 0087 3522, most of this section is overlaid by the A939. There is a modern bridge (NJ03NW 4.01) at NJ 0037 3832 over the Allt na Ceardaich Burn and the old stone Bridge of Dava (NJ03NW 3) at NJ 0045 3899 takes the military road over the Dorback Burn.

NJ 0045 3899 - Military bridge (NJ03NW 3), erected 1746, with modern raised approaches and parapets. Single span. 3.9m wide between parapets.

NJ 0080 3660 - 0077 3653 A stretch of ill-defined heather-covered carriageway c.5m wide which has been partially destroyed by a quarry and track.

NJ 0069 3630 - 0086 3526 Modern road on line of military road.
