Full Description
Two fishtraps in Galmisdale Bay, Eigg.
There are two fish traps, one contained within the other, on the SW side of Galmisdale Bay. Each comprises an L-shaped rubble wall projecting from the shore, and each is open to the NW. The larger trap measures about 100m by 60m, the smaller one about 60m by 45m, and the walls of each are about 1m thick and 0.4m high.
