NH65NW 40 centred on NH 6014 5868
NH 602 587 (centre) A programme of trial trenching was undertaken prior to a housing development close to a Scheduled Ancient Monument (NH 65 NW 1) [Carn Mor - dun]. The trial trenching revealed no archaeological features or deposits. The remains of two crofts (NH 6014 5868 and NH 6014 5864) of a mid-19th-century date were recorded prior to their demolition.
