Thurso, 8th Oct. The SUSANNAH, (schr.), of Whitehaven, from Liverpool, came into the Bay 6th Oct., anchored in a dangerous place next day, and is this morning a complete wreck on the Sands; cargo lost.

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. The 'Sands' may be the exposed beach around ND 117 687, to the W of the mouth of the Thurso River and to the N of the town of Thurso.
