Formerly entered as NO64SE 8009 (unlocated).

16 January 1851. ISABELLA of Perth, from Newcastle to Perth, off Arbroath, encountered a severe gale on the 16th and sprang a leak with other damage; was boarded off Clyth on the morning of the 18th by ? ? who towed her into that harbour. The crew were much exhausted and the vessel in a sinking state. Was assisted into Slaragoe Harbour on the morning of the 18th Jan; waterlogged. Lloyds List 21 January 1851.

The map sheet allocated to this record is arbitrary. This loss is not noted by I G Whittaker (1998), and the vessel may have been returned to service. 'Slaragoe harbour' is probably to be identified as Staxigoe.
