ND26NW 36.13 21041 67616
A type 27 pillbox has been identified from a vertical air photograph, (RAF CPE/Scot/UK/264, 3036, flown 14 August 1947), in the angle if a minor road about 50m E of Thurdistoft farmhouse (ND26NW 43). Nothing could be seen at this location on the date of visit, it has been removed during the post Second World War period.
