29 November 1853, SISTERS, of Port Gordon, sloop, 5 men, Thurso to Lossiemouth, wool, wind force 10, wrecked. Near Kiess [Keiss] Harbour, near Wick, by stress of weather. Crew saved. Lloyds List.

Wick, 1st Dec. The SISTERS, (sloop) of Port Gordon, Cowie, from Thurso, was wrecked on the 29th Nov., a little to the Westward of Kiess [Keiss] Harbour; crew saved.
