Fort William, Inverness, 19th Dec [1857]. The BANSHEE, of Glasgow, Gardner, from Inverness to Corran, in ballast, sank on the 13th Dec., about 4 miles South of this place, after being in contact with the JAMES, Findlay, from Cromarty to Liverpool, which received considerable damage: the crew of the BANSHEE were saved. [Record received incomplete].
