20 January 1884, EDGAR, 12 yrs old, of Yarmouth, N.S., wooden ship, 1.090 tons, 17 crew, Master S. N. Durkee, Owner H. H. Crosby and Co., Yarmouth, N.S., departed Liverpool for Philadelphia, in ballast, wind WNW9, stranded, total loss, Island of Canna, Little Minch, Western Hebrides.
