This building is situated in woodland at the back of a terrace to the S of Upper Gartally. It measures 10m from ENE to WSW by 3.3m transversely within faced rubble wall-footings 0.7m in thickness and 0.5m in height. The entrance is on the SSE and there is an enclosure to the E. The building is depicted as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875, sheet xxix), which also shows the enclosure.
