This rubble-built hut is situated on a SE-facing hillside in heather moorland W of Dalreach, lying at the SW edge of a group of small cairns. The hut is aligned NNW and SSE, with its long axis running downslope. It measures 4.6m by 2.6m within rubble walls 0.6m thick and up to 0.5m high. To the N and NE of the hut at least twenty-three small cairns are scattered across the hillside in a band measuring about 125m from NE to SW by 60m transversely.
