Wick, 13th Sept., 11.2 a.m., the EMELIE, of Wick, herring laden, is on Helmsdale bar, likely to be a total wreck: crew saved.

Wick, 14th Sept., 1.40 p.m., the EMILIE has got off and is safe in Helmsdale. About 200 barrels salved: balance to be landed on quay. Have been under water. Will attend to their condition.
