NLO: Wick Bay [name centred ND 376 506].

Wick, March 7, last night a portion of the bottom of a vessel of about 500 tons came ashore in Wick Bay, and was sold today by the Receiver of Wrecks for 14s. It was covered with seaweed, and worm eaten, and had evidently been a long time in the water. The flooring was of black beech and pine, partly composition fastened, and heavily timbered. A scrap of bunting or blanket, with a linen label 3 inches long and 1 inch wide, marked in marking ink as near as follows "L.Pouller 97 6177 LG 33413-25 +++++++(not deciphered) 63" was picked up in the limbers, and is now in charge of the Receiver.
