27 November 1882, MICHAEL SCOTT, 8 yrs old, of Wick, wooden steam tug, 12 tons, 5 crew, Master J. Durrand, Owner The Wick Towage Co., Limited, Wick, departed Wick for Isle of Oronsay, Hebrides, in ballast, wind N8, stranded, total loss, 2 miles W. of Tarbet [Tarbat] Ness, Co. Ross.
