ND24SE 39 29974 40766
This pile of field-cleared stones, previously identified as a burnt mound (Mercer and Hill 1985, WAR 83a; fig 88), is situated in grass and heather moorland about 290m SSE of the remains of the farmstead ND24SE 38. Roughly crescentic on plan, the pile measures 10m from NW to SE by 4.2m transversely and up to 0.7m in height.
