This shieling-hut is situated on the left (W) bank of a loop in the Achairn Burn, some 740m S of Oult-ruag farmstead (ND34NE 21). Subrectangular on plan, the hut measures 4m from NE to SW by 2.8m transversely over a wall reduced to a low grass-grown bank.
