ND34NE 40 ND 35633 45189
This grass-grown quarry comprises little more than an irregular exposure of rock, measuring 39m in length and up to 1.3m in height, on the SE-face of a low rise 40m NE of the abandoned farmstead ND34NE41. The quarry is depicted but not annotated on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xxx); it is annotated `Quarry' on the 2nd edition of the map (1907, sheet xxx).
