ND34SW 220 32851 43629
This disused quarry is situated in a cultivated field 170m SSW of Borrowston farmsteading (ND34SW 315). Roughly oval on plan, it measures about 23m from NE to SW by a maximum of 11.5m transversely and it has been dug into a SE-facing rise to a depth of at least 2m. The quarry is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix; 1907, sheet xxix).
