This disused quarry, which is situated in rough pasture 270m SSW of Mill Farm steading, measures about 21m from NNE to SSW by 12m transversely and has been dug to a depth of 2m into the NW-facing slope. On the SE lip of the quarry a row of sandstone flags has been set up on edge over a distance of 6.5m. The quarry is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix; 1907, sheet xxix).
