This disused quarry, which is situated in an area of rough pasture 145m E of Mill Farm, measures 32.5m from NE to SW by up to 20m transversely, but it has been almost entirely filled in and is now totally covered with rank gorse. It is first depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xxix).
