ND34SW 222 32585 43818
This disused quarry is cut into an E-facing slope in a field of rough pasture about 135m N of Lineside farmsteading (ND34SW 439). Irregular on plan, it measures about 17m from N to S by up to 6m transversely and up to 1.5m in depth on the W, where living rock is exposed. The quarry is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix; 1907, sheet xxix).
