ND34SW 229 31854 43554
This disused sandstone quarry is situated in heather moorland about 125m NW of the ruins of the farmsteading ND34SW 294. Irregular on plan, it measures about 14m from NNW to SSE by up to 3m transversely and it has been dug into the E face of a low rise to a depth of about 1m. The quarry is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix; 1907, sheet xxix).
