This disused quarry is situated immediately NW of the farmstead ND34SW 77. Roughly triangular on plan, it measures about 1.4m across the open side on the NNE by 1m transversely and about 1m in depth. The quarry is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix; 1907, sheet xxix).
