This small building is situated immediately N of Borrowston Quarry (ND34SW 314) and some 70m W of the cottage at Quarryside. Rectangular on plan, it measures 2.45m from E to W by 2.2m transversely overall, and its mortared stone walls, which stand to a height of 2.2m on the W and 1.9m on the E, support a corrugated steel sheet roof. The wooden door in the ENE side was locked on the date of visit.
