Nothing is visible of this farmstead, which stood in what is now a field of improved pasture immediately NE of the Thrumster to Sarclet public road, and lay opposite a former school. It was U-shaped on plan, its open side facing NE, and it is depicted roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxx). The steading is not shown on the 2nd edition of the map (1907, sheet xxx).
