ND34SW 372 ND 30523 40016
This disused quarry, which is situated in heather moorland 120m WSW of the ruins of the small farmstead ND34SW 371, comprises a series of conjoined pits and spoil-tips occupying an area measuring some 53m from E to W by 25m transversely. A deep pit on the W is now largely filled with farm rubbish. The quarry is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxxiv; 1907, sheet xxxiv).
