This disused quarry is situated in moorland about 160m W of the remains of Knockgunie/Lineside farmsteading (ND34SW 191). Irregular on plan, the heather- and grass-grown pit measures 10m from NE to SW by up to 5.5m transversely and up to 2m in depth on the W.
