ND34SW 410 ND 31880 41769
This burial cairn occupies the summit of a low ridge about 170m N of Loch Watenan. The body of the cairn is reduced to a scatter of stone on the surface of shattered bedrock and now measures no more than 6m in diameter. A slab-built cist is exposed in the scatter and measures at least 1.4m from NNW to SSE by 1.05m transversely and 0.55m in depth. A hollowed trackway shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix) lies immediately to the N of the cairn.
