What are probably the remains of a stone jetty are situated on the E shore of Loch of Yarrows, some 200m ESE of North Yarrows farmsteading (ND34SW 148). The jetty comprises a mass of rubble extending into the loch for a distance of at least 12m. Adjacent to the shore the spread of rubble measures 6.8m in width, but half way along its length the N side turns sharply inwards and it narrows to about 3.2m.
