ND34SW 429 ND 3414 4237
Nothing can be seen of this building, which stood on the shore at the SW end of Loch Sarclet. It is visible on RAF vertical aerial photographs taken in 1947 (CPE/SCOT/ UK/225, prints 3157-8), which show that it had two dormer windows on the NE side of its ridged roof. It is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xxix; 1907, sheet xxix).
Visited by RCAHMS (JRS, IF) 29 July 2004.
