Nothing can be seen of this small roadside quarry, and its site is now occupied by a house and garden about 140m E of Lineside farmsteading (ND34SW 439). The quarry is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xxix; 1907, sheet xxix), but it is visible on RAF vertical aerial photographs taken in 1946 (RAF 106/G/SCOT/UK.74, prints 3278-9).
