ND34NW 54 ND 32072 45722
The remains of this bridge are situated 280m WSW of where the Burn of Swartigill is crossed by the minor public road that runs from Thrumster to Tannach. The decking has been removed, but it was originally carried 1.4m above the level of the stream on thin steel tubes, which rest on a drystone abutment on the N bank and a natural exposure of rock on the S, the width of the stream at this point being 2.7m. Judging from the abutment, the decking of the bridge probably measured about 2.8m in breadth.
