ND34NW 70 ND 30156 46266

This small enclosure is situated in an area of rough pasture 70m NW of the remains of Oliclate farmsteading (ND34NW 69). Rectangular on plan, it measures 6m from NW to SE by 4m transversely within grass-grown banks 2m in thickness and up to 0.3m in height. There is an entrance in the SE end. The enclosure is situated immediately NE of a bank and ditch that is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix), but is not shown on the 2nd edition of the map (1907, sheet xxix). A trackway passes through the bank and ditch immediately SW of the enclosure.
