An area of quarrying is situated in a field of pasture 220m WNW of Roadside Cottage. A large limestone boulder lying at its N end has been split, and two slabs cleaved off its surface lie abandoned immediately to the SW. The boulder measures 2.7m from ENE to WSW by 1.5m transversely and 0.6m in thickness, but the slabs adjacent to it are only 0.15m thick.
