ND34SW 279 ND 30274 42638
This small hut, which is probably the remains of an illicit whisky still, is situated in a secluded position at the foot of a steep, W-facing slope at the rear of a boggy terrace. Subrectangular on plan, it measures up to 3.9m from NNE to SSW by 2.9m transversely within drystone walls 0.8m in thickness and up to 0.5m in height. The interior has been dug into the slope on the ESE and there is an entrance roughly midway along the WNW side. A drain runs from N to S past the outside of the entrance.
