ND34SW 481 ND 30571 43142
This building is situated at the rear of an E-facing terrace 175m SW of South Yarrows farmsteading (ND34SW 474). It measures 4m from N to S by 3.5m internally, and is defined by the quarried face of an outcrop forming the W side, and drystone walls up to 0.7m in height elsewhere. The entrance is in the N end adjacent to the quarried face, and within the interior there is a fireplace at the E end of the S wall, with a chimney up to 1.7m in height. The interior contains the remains of a corrugated iron roof. Immediately N of the building is an L-shaped length of wall, its open side facing NW. Each arm measures about 1.9m in length by no more than 0.6m in height. Its date and purpose are unknown.
