NLO: Strathy Point [name: NC 827 699]
Pentland Firth [name centred ND 35 81].
Thurso, 4th April. `It is reported that the CALEDONIA, of London, timber laden, from America, foundered some time ago near Strathy Head [Strathy Point], about 20 miles to the westward. Part of the stern of the vessel, and some of the cargo, have floated on shore.'
