Thurso, 2d July. `The SIR WM. WALLACE, of and for Aberdeen, Anderson, from Liverpool NB was run on shore in the Pentland Frith [Firth] yesterday, during a thick fog, and in attempting to make Serabster [Scrabster] Roads, was this day obliged to be run on the sands in Muckle [Murkle] Bay, about four miles Eastward of this place, and has 10 feet of water in her hold.'
