Wick [name: ND 361 508].

Possibly on map sheet ND35NW or ND35SW.

The AMAZON, Blues, from Virginia to Aberdeen and Newcastle, was driven on shore 6th inst., in Sinclair's Bay, during a gale from the SE, but it was expected would be got off if the weather moderated. The crew saved.

Wick, 12th Oct. `119 hhds. of tobacco have been landed from the AMAZON, Blues, from Virginia to Leith. The vessel has sunk five feet in quick sands, and has about seven feet of water in her hold.¿

Wick, 24th Oct. `The AMAZON, Blues, from Virginia to Leith, was got off 20th inst., and brought here yesterday, and it is hoped without considerable damage. The whole of the cargo is stored here: about half of it supposed to be damaged.¿
