The remains of a building were recorded at this location during a walkover survey at Stronlairig as part of an environmental assessment for a proposed hydro-electric scheme. The walkover survey revealed the remains of a concrete floored building, aligned E-W, 4.5 x 3.7m. It is marked on the 1992 OS map, but not the latest OS map or the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. The site is visible on an aerial photograph of 1948 but not visible on an aerial photograph of 1989.
